Trigger Point - ensure that your life stays in flux…..Opening night: 24 March at 19.00 Also performed on: 25, 26, 27 March at 19.00, 28 March at 16.00 With precise movements and a great eye for detail, Helen Franzén continues her choreographic explorations. In Trigger Point four individuals are finding their way in a white and solitary landscape. Movements are tested and are given new scope through as yet unexplored orbits, shifting positions and repetition: it´s a mistake to assure that the problem is at the point where it hurts…… Helena Franzén is entering into a long awaited partnership with New York-based choreographer and dancer Ori Flomin, a previous member of the Stephen Petronio Company. Katarina Eriksson and Dan Johansson, two excellent dancers she has worked with before, also participate in the performance. The four dancers are forming a tight, resonating interplay that focuses on solo pieces. Composer and rock musician Jukka Rintamäki, who has worked with Helena for many years, has created a seductive and melancholy soundtrack. Astrid Olsson of design duo Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair has created the costumes and Markus Granqvist is painting a barren salt desert by means of a sophisticated lighting scheme. It signals loneliness and exposure at the same time as it is a scintillating, fragile and absorbing performance. ![]() Klicka på bilden för stor bild |
